Jurassic Park is a fictional theme park and the central setting of Michael Crichton's novel "Jurassic Park," published in 1990. It was later adapted into a blockbuster film directed by Steven Spielberg in 1993. The story revolves around the creation of a theme park located on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, where scientists have successfully cloned dinosaurs using ancient DNA extracted from mosquitoes trapped in amber.

In the narrative, wealthy entrepreneur John Hammond establishes Jurassic Park as a showcase for these resurrected creatures. The park's main attractions are various species of dinosaurs, including the ferocious Tyrannosaurus rex and the intelligent Velociraptor. To ensure the park's safety, Hammond employs a team of experts, including mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm, paleontologists Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ellie Sattler, and game warden Robert Muldoon.

However, due to a series of events, the dinosaurs escape their enclosures, leading to chaos and danger for the park's visitors. The characters must struggle to survive and find a way to escape the island. The story explores themes of genetic engineering, the ethics of cloning extinct species, and the potential consequences of tampering with nature.

The success of the original film spawned a franchise, including several sequels, such as "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" (1997), "Jurassic Park III" (2001), "Jurassic World" (2015), "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" (2018), and "Jurassic World: Dominion" (upcoming in 2022). These movies continue to captivate audiences with their thrilling dinosaur adventures and ongoing exploration of the ethical and scientific implications of reviving extinct creatures.
